Critical thinking 1
From the question, my answer was YES, because when we want to know or search something, the internet was the easier way to search. If we are doing research for something, there were many way to search, for example, Google search, Yahoo search, Live search and so on. Google search was the most popular in the world. Much of the information can search form there even some uncommon information. So, internet was very convenience for us.
Critical thinking 2
But we don’t know the information or news was fake. The comic that taken form "Introduction to Mass Communication: Media Literacy and Culture" by Stanley Baran are show that something from the internet cannot be trust. Some information or news was fake, it’s created by someone. Although the news or article are came for some popular web site, the reliability are not hundred percent and the information may be are wrong. Because we don’t know the information wrote by whom and post by whom also. Many fake information which are created by someone are very interesting and funny, may be the wish to share with other through internet, so they post it up to internet to share, but we don’t know that the information or news was fake, some people will trust it and believe it, and they will tell their friends and family about this information or news, it’s makes like a rumor, spread far. Rumors, lies and innuendo spread far, wide, and fast on the internet, because the internet are very abroad.
Personal thinking
Media culture class need to pass up the summary that we had done on last week. I already submit to lecturer. Unfortunate, some guy who didn’t pass up the summary to lecture, their summary get extends by lecturer.
